ACT NOW: Provide Food and Essentials To Those In Need.
Just RM30 can provide a meal for at least 2 people.
Target: RM250,000
“Whoever feeds a hungry believer, Allah will feed him from the fruits of Paradise.” (at-Tirmidhi, 2449)
Why Do So Many People Still Lack Access to Food?
Food insecurity is about more than having enough food. For many families, poverty, conflict and limited access to basic necessities mean having to skip meals, eat less or settle for food that lacks proper nutrition.
-
Low incomes and the rising cost of living force families to prioritise other essential needs.
-
Health problems can affect a family's ability to earn an income and afford sufficient food.
-
Floods, droughts and other disasters can destroy livelihoods, disrupt food supplies and leave families without reliable sources of food.
-
Conflict and war can displace families from their homes, cut off access to markets and make everyday life increasingly difficult.
-
Remote areas, damaged infrastructure and limited access can make it difficult for essential food supplies and humanitarian aid to reach those who need them most.
